
The 2025/26 English Premier League season has been brought to a close after the final games of the season were played Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Arsenal ended the season as champions for the first time in 22 years, while West Ham United join Burnley and Wolves in the Championship in 2026-27.
Asides from the trophy lift, and relegation battle other English Premier League clubs contended for the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League places.
Here are the eight clubs who qualified for Europe:
Arsenal: Arsenal get automatic qualification to the Champions League after being crowned champions.
Man City: Manchester City also clinched a Champions League spot finishing second on the table, after an intense title race against Arsenal.
Man United: Manchester United qualified for the Champions League this season after finishing 15th last season.
Aston Villa: Aston Villa sealed fourth place at the last game of the season as Emery’s men beat Manchester City 2-1.
Liverpool: Last season’s champions Arne Slot’s Liverpool have not had the best season but they still qualify for the Champions League as the Premier League now gets five places for UEFA Champions League.

Bournemouth: Bournemouth had already guaranteed at least a top-seven finish and a place in Europe for the first time in their history after the midweek draw against Manchester City but the draw on the final day sealed their sixth place finish and Europa League qualification.
Sunderland: Going into the last game of the season. Brighton, Chelsea, Brentford and Sunderland were all fighting for seventh. Sunderland beat the remaining clubs to the Europa League spot after beating Chelsea.
Brighton: Brighton were able to finish eighth to qualify for the Conference League despite their final day loss they were able to beat Brentford to it on goal difference.
Crystal Palace: Crystal Palace also qualified for Europe after winning their first-ever European trophy by beating Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in the Conference League final, they automatically secured a ticket to next season’s Europa League.
London side, Chelsea were in contention to qualify for Europe this season but fell short after they finished tenth.
